What graded from an earlier run means

When a run's detail page says its results were "graded from an earlier run," it means the quality check was skipped because nothing worth re-checking had changed — not that the run was rushed or skipped a step.

What you get

• A quality grade on every run, without paying for a repeat quality check when the underlying data hasn't moved.

Why grades get reused

Every run's results are compared against your workspace's most recent successfully graded run. If prices, availability, promos, and recommendations came back identical to that earlier run, there's nothing new for a quality check to catch — so the earlier grade is copied forward instead of spending a fresh quality check on a report that would grade the same way. The moment even one price or recommendation differs from that earlier run, a full quality check runs again.

Why this is safe

Grading only ever gets reused from a run whose content matches exactly — not "close enough," identical. Any change at all, even a single item's price, triggers a fresh check. Reused grades aren't a lower bar; they're the same grade the identical data already earned.
