Import your spend data

Bring spend in by CSV when a platform doesn't have a connector yet, or when you want history a live sync won't backfill for you.

What you get

  • Spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions from any platform, campaign by campaign, without waiting on a connector
  • A preview step that flags bad rows before anything commits
  • Campaigns from a CSV upload are tracked for spend but skipped by live sync, so nothing double-counts once a connector for that platform arrives

Importing a file

  1. Go to Settings → Connections and find the Import spend export section.
  2. Download the sample CSV if you want the exact column layout, or use your own platform export.
  3. Choose a label, currency, and platform for the file, then upload it.
  4. Preview shows how many rows are ready to import and flags any rejected rows — a missing column, a date that can't be parsed, a negative value, or a duplicate campaign-and-date pair (the later row is kept).
  5. Commit the import once the preview looks right.

An import counts against your plan's ad-account and campaign limits the same as a live connection — the preview screen names which cap you'd exceed and shows the exact number before a commit would go over it.

Keeping it current

A CSV upload is a point-in-time snapshot. Re-upload a fresh export under the same label to keep the numbers current, since a CSV-only campaign isn't picked up by a live sync in between uploads.
