Billing & credits basics
Know exactly what your plan includes and where you stand against it, before a cap ever surprises you.
What you get
- Four annual tiers — Basic, Pro, Max, and Enterprise — each raising every cap: runs, catalog size, sources, and team members.
- A live usage view against your current period's cap, not just an end-of-month invoice.
- Credit packs and an opt-in prepaid automatic top-up, so a busy month doesn't have to stop you.
How usage is measured
Every check your workspace runs — whether you trigger it with Run now or a schedule runs it for you — consumes research-unit credits against your plan's cap. Settings → Billing shows usage against that cap for the current period, and Settings → Usage breaks it down further.
Credit packs and automatic top-up
Your plan's included cap is a hard stop: a run that would go past it does not run, and you are never billed after the fact. To keep going you can wait for the next period, buy a credit pack (from 100 checks, in multiples of 100), or opt in to automatic top-up, which charges the next pack to your card before the work runs. It's opt-in, not automatic — you turn it on yourself. Credit packs and automatic top-up are not offered on Enterprise; its allowance is a funded figure set by your contract.
Changing plans
Upgrades, downgrades, payment methods, and invoices are all managed from Settings → Billing through Stripe's billing portal. If you're evaluating Enterprise, that page has the way to get in touch about it.
