Get set up in four steps

A brand-new marketing workspace starts empty on purpose — no ad accounts, no campaigns, no spend data. These four steps take you from zero data to your first pacing and price-position read.

What you get

  • A live read on how each campaign is pacing against its budget, without pulling a report by hand.
  • Pacing and delivery signals per ad account, so a campaign quietly draining budget doesn't go unnoticed.
  • A recommendation or alert the moment a campaign needs a decision.

1. Connect an ad account

Head to Settings → Connections and connect an ad platform account. If a live connector isn't an option yet, bring spend in by CSV instead — see Import your spend data. Every connected or CSV-labeled account counts toward your plan's tracked-account limit.

2. Watch your campaigns sync in

Once connected, campaigns and their daily spend sync in on their own. Marketing workspaces have no Run now button — there's nothing to trigger manually. Give it one sync cycle, or commit a CSV import, then check Overview for your first numbers.

3. Set your spend guardrails

Before you lean on alerts, set a monthly budget, pacing tolerance, and target CPA/ROAS under Settings → Spend guardrails so MarginTide knows what "on pace" means for your campaigns. See Set spend guardrails.

4. See your first read

Back on Overview, you'll see pacing status per ad account, and campaign-level numbers as spend accrues. Anything worth a decision — an overspend, an underspend, a campaign that's gone quiet — lands as a recommendation in the Action Center.
